About Me

I design and make jewellery using materials from reputable suppliers, producing unique pieces at affordable prices. From pre-historic times onwards we have evidence of the rich story of our love of personal adornment and our use of gemstones as amulets and talismans. As an ex-teacher of history I find this fascinating and it is reflected in my work. My jewellery is often inspired by the designs of previous eras interpreted for today, or by gemstones which have been known since antiquity.

Most of the collections use genuine stones and real cultured pearls, alongside  Sterling silver (925) Argentium silver (935) or Fine silver (999). The intricate and history inspired collections use the best quality beads from Miyuki, Swarovski crystal elements, Murano glass and Czech glass.

My pieces are all hand made by me in London. I love the process of hand making and enjoy the challenge of designing. I enjoy using a range of traditional techniques such as hand-knotting pearl strands with silk thread,  metalworking  and seed-beading.  My work is eclectic, and by employing  various methods, I am able to produce a range of different collections, not forgetting that the jewellery must above all be wearable. It is important to me that customers really enjoy wearing or gifting my jewellery.

Many thanks for visiting the store. I hope you find something you like!
